The Walker Young Professionals Group is a group of dedicated individuals that supports the programs of Walker through volunteering and fundraising. WalkerYPG also provides its members with the opportunity to network, develop new skills, and to have fun with their peers. Through our efforts we look to share with the community the great work Walker is doing for severely at-risk children, troubled adolescents, and their families.
This exciting group of young professionals gets together to:
- Volunteer: Plan and attend activities with the children at The Walker School on the Walker Needham campus. Some activities you can share with Walker kids include sports and games, baking, and arts and crafts.
- Socialize: WalkerYPG is a great way to make new friends and professional contacts as you spend time with bright, young professionals from the Greater Boston area.
- Raise Money: Help organize and participate in fundraising events with proceeds supporting the programs of Walker. Each year, WalkerYPG organizes a basketball tournament and a Boston harbor cruise, and we have even more projects in the works!
